
Teuila is an experienced family lawyer who has built a reputation for being a strong, compassionate advocate in some of the most challenging areas of law.
Admitted in 2022, Teuila has packed an impressive amount into a relatively short career. She is a Ministry of Justice Legal Aid Lead Provider in family law and has independently conducted defended hearings across Family Courts throughout New Zealand, from Auckland to Christchurch, as well as appearances in the High Court.
Her experience spans care of children matters, family violence proceedings, Oranga Tamariki work, relationship property, and applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act. Before joining CWG Law, Teuila held both legal and management responsibilities, overseeing operations and mentoring lawyers across multiple offices.
Originally from Niue and with Samoan and Fijian heritage, Teuila is passionate about serving her community and increasing Pacific Island representation in the legal profession. She brings warmth, determination, and a deep commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
A University of Waikato graduate, Teuila is excited to be back in the Waikato region and is a fantastic addition to the CWG Law team.
